Fish Tacos with Chipotle Crema & Citrus Chutney

Fish Tacos with Chipotle Crema and Citrus Chutney


Taco Ingredients:

- 6 Flour Tortillas, warmed

- 1 lb of Salmon Filet

- Chipotle Crema

- Red Cabbage, sliced thinly

- Citrus Chutney


Taco Directions:

1. Prepare all of the ingredients from the recipes listed below.

2. Assemble your tacos:

- Tortilla

- Use a fork to break off chunks of salmon top fill the bottom of your tortilla.

- Top with a spoonful of chipotle crema.

- Layer with cabbage.

- Smother with spoonfuls of citrus chutney.





Fish Ingredients:

- Approximately 1 lb of Salmon Filet

- 1/4 Teaspoon of Creole Seasoning

- 1 Teaspoon of Blackened Seasoning

- 1/4 Teaspoon of Cajun Seasoning

- A Small Sprinkle of Garlic and Onion Powder

- 1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil


Fish Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375*F.

2. Season your filet with the above listed spices.

3. On a sheet pan, drizzle your olive oil and place your filet skin side down on the oil.

3. Bake approximately 30 minutes or until cooked through.




Crema Ingredients:

- 1/2 Cup of Sour Cream

- 1/4 Cup of Mayonnaise

- 1/2 Lime worth of Lime Juice

- 1 Tablespoon of Chipotle in Adobo Sauce

- 1 Teaspoon of Cumin

- Sea Salt and Onion Powder to Taste


Crema Directions:

1. Add all of the above ingredients into a small bowl and mix together until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated. Taste and adjust seasoning, lime juice, and adobo sauce as needed.




Citrus Chutney Ingredients:

- 1 Cara Cara Orange, Peeled and Diced

- 2 Blood Oranges, Peeled and Diced

- 2/3 of a Large Red Grapefruit, Peeled and Diced

- 1/2 Mango, Peeled and Diced

- 1 Tablespoon of Finely Diced Cilantro

- 1/2 of a Lime Juice

- 1/2 Teaspoon of Cumin

- A Small Dash of Cardamom


Citrus Chutney Directions:

1. Peel and dice all of the fruit and add into a small bowl.

2. Season with cilantro, lime juice, cumin and cardamom.

3. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

4. Let rest at least 20 minutes so all of the flavors can marinate together.
